Founder of Promoesport. Rodri Baster is a FIFA Agent with more than 23 years representing elite sportsmen and women. In 2002, he founded the Spanish agency Promoesport Barcelona and his successful business model in the Spanish territory led to the expansion of the Promoesport brand to different countries, representing a large number of players and carrying out more than 2.000 operations all over the world. Rodri Baster is the discoverer in Europe of football players such as Eric Bailly, Felipe Melo, Iago Aspas, Aleix Vidal, Carlos Soler or Diego Alves, among many others. He also successfully managed the sports area of Gimnàstic de Tarragona, a club he promoted from Segunda División B to Segunda División A and which almost achieved promotion to the Spanish First Division.
He is a graduate in Physical Education and Physiotherapy.
As a result of globalization in the world of football, Promoesport is one of the few agencies focused exclusively on football. The agency has a strategic plan, focused on the formation and double success of football players: sporting and personal growth. It is currently the agency that represents the most footballers in LaLiga and is ranked in the Top 5 of the major European leagues.
The arrival in the Balkan territory extends the agency’s reach in one of the emerging football markets and increases the potential resources available for Promoesport players interested in the leagues in the region. This project, managed in cooperation between Vlad Djukic and Antonio Rukavina, former international player with Serbia and LaLiga, highlights Promoesport’s leadership and ambition for constant growth. We are moving forward in terms of service quality and experience in the sector.
