The
central defender Antonio Raíllo, represented by
Promoesport, scored his
first goal of the season with
Mallorca, in the match that his team played against
FC Barcelona at
Camp Nou. The player from Cordoba made a very good shot with his right foot in the small box of the
blaugrana's team and ended up scoring for the
Balearic team.
The game was 2-0 and seemed to be resolved, but with Raíllo's goal his team came out on top, dreamed of an equaliser and put the defence on the ropes in the last 10 minutes of the game.
Since recovering from injury in February, Antonio Raíllo has been an unquestioned starter for the
Mallorcan defence and has played all 90 minutes in each of the last 12 games. In addition, his great performance is reflected in the numbers with
3.54 balls recovered per game and 33.85 good passes per game.
