Carles Gil, represented by
Promoesport, has scored again in the 30th round of the MLS regular league. The New England Revolution drew 2-2 against St. Louis City. The captain played all 90 minutes and was the highest rated player on his team.
As the game approached half-time, Carles Gil received the ball on the edge of the box. He swung the ball towards his right foot, the less skilful one, and adjusted to the opposite post, slotting the shot under the legs of his opponent. In celebration, Carles remembered Matteo, a young fan of the club who is battling an illness. He promised to dedicate a goal to him and so he did.
The Valencian player has been with the American club since 2019 and has become one of the best players in the league. With 151 MLS games under his belt, the Spanish playmaker has 38 goals and 44 assists to his name, becoming the league's MVP in the 21/22 season.
From Promoesport we congratulate Carles Gil for another good season in the United States and we encourage him to give everything in this final stretch of the regular league.
