Edu Expósito,
SD Eibar player, is the last footballer who
has decided to enter the team of international talents represented by Promoesport. The Spaniard, 25 years old, joins their teammates
José Corpas,
Toño García,
Fran Sol and
Stoichkov. The Catalonian midfielder is having a great campaign in
LaLiga Smartbank with the “armeros”,
second in the table, in
direct promotion positions, and comes from scoring the winner in the
Copa del Rey victory over Tenerife.
Expósito was recruited by
CF Damm, one of the most prolific academies in Catalunya, until he moved to A Coruña in 2015 to spend four seasons with
RC Deportivo, with whom he made his debut in the First Division and started to stand out in the Second, disputing the promotion playoffs to
LaLiga Santander.
After his spell in Galicia, he signed for SD Eibar, the club he has played for the last two seasons and where he has
scored 10 goals and delivered 7 assists in total. At the moment, he is one of the most important players in the team’s midfield, with a great volume of matches played, 20 of 21 possible. Besides, his creativity and his ability to usually step into the attack make him a fundamental footballer for the club’s aspirations:
to come back to the Spanish football top flight.
