Juan Cruz scores on his return to La Liga

//

Juan Cruz Díaz, represented by Promoesport, scored the only goal for Leganés against Osasuna on the first day of La Liga.

Born in Quilmes, Argentina, the Spanish-Argentine player played in the youth ranks of Málaga CF, being a great youngstar from the beginning and making his debut with the first team in the First Division at just 18 years old. After years on the Costa del Sol, he would head to Seville to sign for Real Betis. In the green and white club he would soon stand out and quickly begin to accumulate minutes in the first team, showing his great potential. In 2024 he played the last half of the season on loan at Leganés, where he scored 4 goals and was promoted to the First Division.

Now, as a player owned by Leganés, the brilliant winger has already shown his credentials to be one of the great revelations of La Liga. It was the 21st minute of this first match when Juan dazzled the entire stadium after getting away from his defender and finishing at first touch a long pass from his teammate, making a subtle shot to beat the rival goalkeeper.

With this goal, Juan Cruz starts the season in the best way. From Promoesport we wish him very good luck for the rest of the year.
