Right winger
Andy Polo, represented by
Promoesport, continues to be a key player in Universitario de Peru's attack.
In the Lima club's most recent match, Polo was one of the standout performers on the night. It was matchday 4 of the Copa Libertadores, in which Universitario hosted Junior de Barranquilla at home. In the fifth minute the home side conceded a goal after a great shot from the Colombian side, but 20 minutes later the equaliser arrived.
It was at that moment that Polo appeared on the right flank, making magic and showing the best of his dribbling. A few metres from the entrance to the box, the 24-year-old, who wears the number 24 shirt, tunneled past the first defender and in the box left another defender in his path to send the ball into the heart of the box for one of his team-mates to finish the move with a goal.
The 29-year-old has played every game in the international cup, averaging 21.3 passes per game, of which 8.3 are in his own half and 14.0 in the opposition half, as well as providing 1.5 key passes per game.
