Rubén Pérez has joined
Panathinaikos. The midfielder leaves Leganés after five years in the club to begin a new chapter in the Greek top flight.
After finishing his contract with the Blue and Whites' club on 30 June, the midfielder, represented by
Promoesport, says goodbye to Butarque being the 'pepinero' who has defended his badge the
most times in the First Division. He has done so on a total of 118 appearances.
The former Leganés captain is embarking on his second experience abroad after spending the 2014 season with Torino. He now heads to Panathinaikos, the club with the second most domestic titles in Greece - twenty Super League trophies and eighteen Greek Cups -. Last season, they finished fourth in the Super League.
