Wisła Kraków and Lugano, one step away from Europe

//

Marc Carbó and Piotr Starzynski, Wisła Kraków players represented by Promoesport, have qualified for the Play-off round of the UEFA Conference League. In addition, the Lugano player Martim Marques, also represented by Promoesport, has done the same by qualifying for the UEFA Europa League Play-off.

Wisła Krakow received Spartak Trnava with the aim of overcoming the adverse result of the first leg. Both Piotr and Marc were starters and key to achieving that comeback. In the 60th minute, Piotr controlled a ball in the air to finish exquisitely and tie the tie. Later, in the penalty shootout, Marc would score his goal to help the team in the winning effort and advance to the next round. After this tie, they are just one step away from the group stage. To achieve this, they need to beat the Belgian side Cercle Brugge.

On the other hand, Lugano played the second leg at home against Partizan Belgrade with a slight advantage from the first leg. In any case, it was not an easy match, and after 90 minutes the tie had to be decided in extra time. Already in extra time and with Martim Marques on the field, they would score a goal that would give them classification. With this victory, they are assured of the group stage of the Conference League and will only need to beat the Turkish side Besiktas to be in the Europa League group stage.

From Promoesport we send a lot of strength to our players and we hope that they achieve their goal and thus be able to see them in the group stages.
