The player from Seville began his football career in the youth categories of Real Betis. He made his debut in the First Division with the green and white club in October 2011, against Levante. Throughout his career he has played for clubs such as Swansea, Rayo Vallecano, KRK Genk, Toronto, Inter Miami and Konyaspor.
The 31-year-old midfielder arrives at Al-Jazira after a season in the Turkish league where he made 12 appearances, scored four goals and provided three assists.
Pozuelo will play in the First Division of the United Arab Emirates where he will continue to develop his career.
