Pervis Estupiñán heads to the Premier League

//

Pervis Estupiñán, Ecuadorian international and represented by Promoesport, has signed for Brighton & Hove Albion FC to reach the Premier League after a successful spell at Villarreal CF.

Estupiñán managed to establish himself in Spain thanks to the high level he showed in his time at Granada, Almería, Mallorca and Osasuna, going from Segunda División B to Primera in just three seasons. In the 20/21 season he joined the Yellow Submarine, becoming the most expensive defender in the history of the club, which paid 16.4 million euros to acquire his services, and in his first season he won the Europa League in an agonizing final against Manchester United, marked by the endless penalty shootout that decided the match.

In his second year at Villarreal CF he made more than 40 appearances and managed to reach the Champions League semifinals in a historic season for the club. With Pervis as the protagonist of the left wing, they overcame historic clubs such as Juventus and Bayern Munich, making their fans dream.

Now he is heading to the Premier League and faces a new challenge with Brighton & Hove Albion FC, where he will be able to demonstrate his ability to reach both areas, physical power and determination in the last meters.
