Promoesport signs an agreement with Shamuel Soccer Academy in Zambia
//
Promoesport, Spain's leading football player representation agency, announces a partnership agreement with the Shamuel Soccer Academy in Lusaka, Zambia. This agreement aims to guide and accompany the young talents of the academy in their football development, taking advantage of Promoesport's vast experience and knowledge in the development of elite football players.
The Shamuel Soccer Academy, founded in 2018, hosts 70 players distributed in four teams: Senior, U19, U17 and U10. The academy has its own sports facilities and has been the starting point for promising players, such as Miguel Chaiwa, currently playing for BSC Young Boys in the Swiss league. With this agreement, Promoesport is committed to provide its expertise to improve the development of the players and enhance their future in professional football. T
his project in Zambia adds to Promoesport's efforts on the African continent, being the third sports project after the successful development of Promoafrica and the Étoiles du Mandé Academy in Mali. Promoafrica has worked in countries such as Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Mali, Ghana, Gabon, Senegal and Guinea, and has managed to get 15 football players trained in the project to play in European clubs. Among the most prominent cases is Eric Bailly, a Manchester United player, who was discovered by Promoafrica and has had a remarkable career in European football. As for Étoiles du Mandé, a sports reference in Mali, it has more than 70 players, several of them representing their country in youth categories, as well as more than ten success stories of football players in the best youth academies in Spain and France.
In addition to the collaboration agreement, Promoesport will provide comprehensive methodological and sporting support to the Shamuel Soccer Academy. This support will include the presence of expert coaches and a Technical Secretariat that will work closely with the academy coaches to implement the best technical and tactical practices. The aim is to ensure sustainable, high-level sporting growth for all players, improving both their individual skills and their collective performance on the pitch.
Paul Buscail, CEO of Promoesport, comments on the agreement: "We are very excited to expand our presence in Africa with the collaboration of the Shamuel Soccer Academy. We strongly believe in the talent and potential of young Zambian footballers and are committed to providing them with the tools and support needed to achieve success in their careers."
With this new agreement, Promoesport reaffirms its commitment to the development of football talent in Africa, providing opportunities and accompaniment to young players to achieve success in professional football.
