Promoesport informs of the public communication made by Mr. Bayram Tutumlu in which he recognizes the inaccuracy of his continuous manifestations in social networks in which he was defaming, insulting, and accusing José Rodríguez Baster "Rodri", founder of Promoesport, of being the author of a series of crimes that he never committed.
In this public rectification, Mr. Bayram Tutumlu acknowledges his serious mistake and shows his "repentance" retracting, "without exception and for all purposes, all statements made" against José Rodríguez Baster. In addition, he apologizes both to him and to his family and friends "for the damage that may have been caused to his image, honor and professional, personal and family reputation". In addition, Mr. Bayram Tutumlu has compensated José Rodriguez Baster for the moral damages caused.
Both the public apology and the compensation have taken place within the criminal proceedings opened at the time as a result of the complaint filed by José Rodriguez Baster against Bayram Tutumlu, for a continuous crime of threats and two continuous crimes of slander and libel.
Here is the full rectification of Mr. Bayram Tutumlu:
"I, Bayram Tutumlu, would like to state that, in recent years there have been a series of discrepancies with Mr. José Rodríguez Baster, and that I have been publishing through my social networks manifestations against José Rodríguez Baster, accusing him of being the author of crimes that, in reality, he never committed, in addition to having uttered insults against his person.
Having clarified the discrepancies, and being now aware that I was wrong, I show my repentance retracting, without exception and for all purposes, all the statements made. Likewise, I would like to apologize to José Rodríguez Baster and his family and friends for any damage I may have caused to his image, honor and professional, personal and family reputation".
