Two strikers in the top 10

Strikers Rafa Mújica and Bruno Duarte, represented by Promoesport, are in the top 10 scorers of the Portuguese League.

Mújica, player of Arouca FC, accumulates 20 goals so far this season, which leaves him third in the league's top scorers ranking. The Spaniard scored in the first game of the season against Rio Ave. Subsequently, against Estoril Praia, FC Vizela, Sporting CP and Boavista. On 16 December last year he scored a hat-trick against Gil Vicente. His goalscoring run continued against Estrela Amadora, he repeated against Estoril Praia and FC Vizela, who scored a brace the second time.

At the beginning of February, he scored against Portimonense and FC Porto. At the end of the month, he scored against FC Famalicão. Then, in March, he also got off to a flying start with a brace against GD Chaves. Finally, in April, he added another four goals to his tally; two against SC Braga, and one against both Boavista and Rio Ave.

Brazilian Bruno Duarte of SC Farense, meanwhile, is tenth in the ranking with 13 goals to his name. In his case, he opened his account from matchday 6 of the league, when he scored against SC Braga. He went on to score against Rio Ave, FC Arouca and Vitória SC. He then scored in four consecutive matches; Casa Pia AC, FC Porto, GD Chaves and FC Famalicão.

At the end of March, he reported back with goals again against FC Arouca, and since then he has scored in every game; against Boavista, Vitória SC, Estrela Amadora and finally Estoril Praia.

The Portuguese League has two games left to go. Arouca's next game is away to Benfica on 12 May at 7pm. Meanwhile, SC Farense also go away to face Gil Vicente on Sunday 12 May at 16.30.
