Álvaro González debuts and wins in Europa Conference League

Last night the Conference League returned and with it Olympique Marseille. Álvaro González, represented by Promoesport, played yesterday the first leg of the play-offs of the European competition. The French team won 3-1 at the Stade Velodrome and will play the second leg on 24 February where they will fight for a place in the draw for the last 16.
The Cantabrian player made his first appearance in this international competition and did so as a starter. After his departure from Spain in 2019, he joined the prestigious French team with whom he has already made a total of 75 appearances. He has played in many competitions with Olympique, such as Ligue 1, Coupe de France or Trophée des Champions, as well as playing in the most important European competitions such as Europa League or Champions League, but for the first time in his career he played a game in the Conference League.
González will strive to continue adding minutes and rounds in the Europa Conference League bringing his great defensive solidity.
