Getafe have had a great final stretch of the season and have managed to stay in LaLiga Santander, among other things, thanks to their goalkeeper David Soria. The Promoesport goalkeeper has had a great season conceding only 41 goals, being among the Top-7 in the Zamora Trophy ranking ahead of goalkeepers playing in European competition and who represent their national teams.
The goalkeeper from Madrid has played in every league matchweek this season, in what has been his fourth season with the "azulones". He graduated in the Real Madrid youth academy and after a brief period in England, Soria signed for Sevilla C. Two years later, in 2015, he made his debut for Sevilla's first team and won his first title on the pitch, the Europa League, a trophy he had won the previous season when he was still goalkeeper for Sevilla Atlético.
