Dário Essugo joins Promoesport to be advised in his promising sporting career.
The Sporting Clube de Portugal midfielder, who is currently adapting to the training dynamics of the first team, is one of the promising talents of the Portuguese youth academy where so many players graduate for the elite of world football.
At 16 years of age, he is an international with the Portugal U-18 national team and has already made his debut with Sporting CP's first team. In the 2020/21 season, when Ruben Amorim's team were crowned champions, he came on the pitch to make his dream come true on matchday 24, with clear signs of emotion that went viral and demonstrated the love he feels for the club.
As well as competing in Liga 3 with the B team and training with the first team, he will also play in the UEFA Youth League, a competition where the best European youth teams compete.
