The Atlético de Madrid player is one of the captains of the Spanish National Team and has participated regularly in the qualifiers previous to the World Cup. Her ability to create play and destabilise the opposition has made her a fundamental pillar in the 'red' team's eleven.
The Sevillian, who won the Copa de la Reina with Atlético de Madrid last May, began her career at Real Betis where she stood out for her vision. During the 2018-2019 season she was called up to the national team and made her debut in a friendly against Brazil.
From 20 July, Irene Guerrero, one of the most charismatic and experienced players of the Spanish National Team, will fight to make a good performance at the World Cup.
