Jordy Josué Caicedo, represented by Promoesport has become a new player for Real Sporting de Gijón after leavingn Tigres UANL on loan.
The 26-year-old Ecuadorian striker comes to the Liga Hypermotiton team after a year in the Mexican elite, where he has played 28 games scoring 7 goals. Previously, he has developed his career in Türkiye, Brazil, Bulgaria and Ecuador, his native country. With the Ecuadorian national team, he has participated in the latest edition of the Copa América after debuting with the senior team in 2021.
Previously, he was proclaimed runner-up in the South American U20 Championship with the U20 team of Ecuador. In his record he has a league runner-up and a cup runner-up with the Bulgarian side CSKA Sofia, in addition to the aforementioned runner-up with the tricolor team.
