Juanlu Sánchez, represented by Promoesport, has qualified for the quarter-finals of the Olympic Games with the Spanish national team.
The Andalusian full-back played again, this time the whole second half, and continues in the fight for the gold medal. The full-back played a good game, contributing in attack and safe in defence. The team was defeated, but advanced to the next round as second in the group.
In the quarter-finals awaits the Japanese team. Next Friday, 2 August, they will face each other to decide who advances to the semi-finals and, therefore, to the fight for the medals.
