André Onana (02/04/1996) is one of top rated goalkeepers in Europe. At the last Ballon d’Or Awards the Ajax player was recognized as the best African goalkeeper.
He started his youth career at the prestigious F.C. Barcelona academy and from there he enrolled into AFC Ajax ranks. After two seasons in the reserves team, he managed to stand out and became a first team player, achieving his desire to become a professional footballer.
He’s got more than one hundred and eighty matches in the Eredivise in his belt and managed to be part of the team that marveled the world with their style in the last edition of the UEFA Champions League.
Additionally Ajax reached the Europa League final of the 2016/2017 season with Onana as a starting keeper. Furthermore, they won the Eredivise last year. With only twenty-three years old he is considered an idol in Cameroon and is the starting goalie in the National Team.
